International Day for the Persons with Disabilities

Every year with a new approach, we celebrate the day with the children with disabilities by promoting an understanding of disability issues and mobilize support for the dignity, rights and well-being of persons with disabilities.

Independence Day

With the aim of paying tribute and remember all the freedom fighters who had contributed a lot and fought for the independence of India, Independence Day is celebrated at Bikash campus.

Sit and Draw Competition

It is held at the campus itself and our Centre for Special School participates in the competition. We believe that they are born with talents and arranging all this kinds of competition, they get the chances of quality drawing by proving their creativity and latent potential within them.

Picnic cum Outing

A joyride is conducted to enjoy out-of-doors away from the school. Children of special school enjoy the ride and explore the place in a colourful way.

Republic Day

It is celebrated every year with the students of special home who performs cultural programme organised at the school campus on the day of this auspicious day.

Rabindra Jayanti

We celebrate the day in the remembrance of ‘Kabi Guru’ and a cultural programme is organised where our special school children performs dance on Rabindra Sangeet.

Children’s Day

The main theme underlies is to ensure that their physical and mental abilities have been maximised and to provide them opportunities for exploration.

Annual Cultural Programme

A mandatory occasion of Bikash is organised every year in the month of December at its own campus. It displays the talented ‘butterflies’ of our special school in performing dance, drama, poetry, etc.

World Down Syndrome Day

With the objective of raising public awareness and advocating for their rights, inclusion and well being of the people with Down Syndrome, we celebrate the day with great joy and fun with the children of the Special School of Bikash.

World Autism Awareness Day Programme

This day shines a bright light on those children having autistic spectrum disorder. We organise participatory programme to encourage early diagnosis and early intervention as it is a pervasive disorder that affects tens of millions.
